British Columbia, Canada
Following extensive scouting and research for the best possible location, Young Living purchased land in British Columbia, Canada, for the Northern Lights farm in 2014. This farm is already a major source of Black Spruce essential oil, an important oil in many popular blends, including Valor II™, Shutran™, Harmony™, Awaken™, and Envision™. The pristine Northern Lights farm has been relatively untouched, keeping it free of synthetic chemicals and fertilizers.
Mona, Utah, USA
Our Mona, Utah, farm includes nearly 1,600 acres and is home to the largest privately owned essential oil distillery in the world. The Mona farm has been serving the local and Young Living communities since 1995. Many different plants are harvested here, both to be distilled into pure essential oils for our members and for botanical research.
Highland Flats, Idaho, USA
The Highland Flats farm in Idaho is home to one of the world’s largest essential oil distilleries. Young Living hosts an annual Winter Harvest and Spring Reforestation project where members are invited to participate and experience the Seed to Seal process firsthand. Highland Flats gives back to the earth with sustainable farming practices.
St. Maries, Idaho, USA
St. Maries, Idaho, is the farm where it all started. It was established by D. Gary Young in 1993 when he brought lavender seeds from Provence, France, and planted them on what is now the St. Maries farm. The St. Maries farm has never been contaminated by industrial chemicals. This farm grows favorite botanicals for distillation, including melissa, tansy, and lavender.
Simiane La-Rotonde, France
The Provence region of France is renowned for its rolling hills and fields of fragrant lavender. Our Simiane-la-Rotonde farm is the only American-owned lavender farm in France. Young Living takes advantage of this fertile land to grow clary sage, lavender, rosemary, and lavandin.
Young Living is the first and only company in the world to obtain permission to distill and export Sacred Frankincense in Oman and bring it into the Western world. Boswellia sacra trees in Oman have been harvested for the past 5,000 years. Today, they are harvested in the same way and on the same schedule as their ancestors. The limestone cliffs of the Dhofar Mountains provide the perfect environment for growing Boswellia sacra.
The tropical climate in Guayaquil, Ecuador, allows us to plant and harvest year-round. The Ecuador farm’s rich soil and lush environment nourish our most exotic botanicals, including as ylang ylang and dorado azul. The Ecuador farm’s state-of-the-art distillery is one of the largest in South America.
